Awards

The  first  of the prestigious "Winans Friendship Tribute" Awards from the MUFON Chapter of Kansas was presented to Linda Moulton Howe on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at the Grand Central Taverne Restaurant located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  This award was presented to Linda during a dinner that was held in her honor with her guests (Barbara Lamb, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Marrs, Nick Pope, Whitley Strieber) along with members of the MUFON Chapter of Kansas and Missouri MUFON Chapter in attendance. 

Linda has been referred to as "the hardest working lady in the field of ufology."  We can all attest to this fact!  Linda leaves no stone unturned.  Her drive and tenacity to find the facts are indefatigable.  She is truly a shining example of a researcher and investigator.  Linda has promoted and participated in the scientific investigations of numerous UFO reports, she one of the greatest reporters who helps to educate the public at large on UFOs and many subjects related to the paranormal.  She brings scientists and researchers in our field to the public's attention every day.  Linda has helped and is still helping the MUFON Chapter of Kansas in too many ways to mention here. 

We are always willing to help her out in any possible way at any time. 

We are truly proud to count her as one of our many friends.

Presented to Friends who have helped us by selflessly contributing their time and efforts to help our chapter.

The  second  of the prestigious "Winans Friendship Tribute" Awards from the MUFON Chapter of Kansas was presented to Suzanne James on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at the Grand Central Taverne Restaurant located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  This award was presented to Suzanne during a dinner that was held in her honor with guests (Debbie Jordan-Kauble, Angelia Sheer, Dale Houston and Travis Walton) along with members of the MUFON Chapter of Kansas and Missouri MUFON Chapter in attendance. 

Suzanne is one of the greatest friends of the MUFON Chapter of Kansas.  She has always been a driving force in the field of ufology.  All of us in Kansas can attest to this fact!  Suzanne has proven herself to be a tenacious supporter of the MUFON Chapter here in our state when it comes to finding the truth Suzanne is one of the best people to consult with.  She is truly a shining example of a researcher and very proactive within the MUFON Chapter of Kansas.  Suzanne has gone to great lngths to help promote our chapter. We are always willing to help Suzanne out in any possible way at any time. 

We are truly proud to count her as one of our many friends, supports and benefactors.

2012 MUFON Investigator of The Year:

Field Investigator, Stan Seba has received the 2012 Investigator of The Year award from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).  Stan has been a Field Investigator for the Kansas MUFON since 2010 and has investigated over 1000 UFO sightings. He is also a member of MUFON's prestigious STAR Team.
